Naughty online shopping tips...

Hi Guys,

Hope all is well and your enjoying the weather we have had!!! *eyesrolling*
Well I've been doing a bit of holiday shopping, but I love a bargin so I just want to share a few tips that I have found as I have been shopping.

Usually when purchasing an item (well actually very rarely depending on the item) I like to try on, but the fashion retail stores nowadays have such great returns and refunds policies you can afford to purchase and try at home.

Well sitting at my computer looking at the sale items on various websites, thinking maybe I can catch a few items that maybe sold out in the shops.

Right guy's let me get to the point... it's good to sign up to sites such as http://www.vouchercodes.co.uk/ sites like these have great fashion voucher codes when shopping online etc. good to look out for these they offer discounts, free deliveries etc.

I also had a thought whilst on the Debenhams website, they have their blue cross sale at the moment and are offering free delivery on orders via vouchercodes website. Now, Debenhams has Warehouse, Oasis, Faith, KG, Carvela to name a few. concessions so why not purchase these items from Debenhams and have free delivery as opposed to the actually store websites. You got to shop around and if 1 offers free delivery and the other does not take full use of this and instead of paying for delivery buy yourself a little something extra!!!!!!!

So keep your eyes peeled for these deals, you may may save yourselves a bit on the delivery charge.

Summer, Summer, Summer time.....Back in the Seventies

Hmmm... summers here, well at least I think it is!!
The sales have started, so now is the best time to start shopping for them summer goodies (to take on your hol's)
So many trends to choice from, the trend I'm  loving and always have before it was show cased on Spring/Summer catwalks is the Seventies and to top it off guy's Biba's back in case you didn't know.

So...The seventies well I was born in the eighties but I have a fair, well good idea of the seventies trends as I have studied this, History of Fashion and all that...

So we all know about the flares and the platforms and... all the rest well all these hot looks have come back.
I'll be telling you guys what and what not to choose according to your body shape!! I can provide this service personally x x I can let you into a secret that the flared trouser are best suited for the taller woman, but there are options for the petite ladies.

Hear are some Seventies trends from the catwalk, the ones that I lovvvvvvve!!!

Salvatore Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2010

Clohe Autumn/Winter 2010

 Gucci Autumn/Winter 2010

What do you guys think of the Seventies trend?.....

Summer, Summer, Summer time....Neon brights

OOOOooo, bit of eighties styling I say neon!!

The yellow and the orange and the green all florescent of course, love these colours they can really brighten up an outfit, just a hint will do, you do not need to go all out from head to toe you'll stand out just as well with a subtle hint, a subtle hint is what I advise.
Initially seen on the streets but has trickled up to the catwalk of Spring/Summer 2011.

We know that this is not such a new trend, I remember wear florescent quite some time ago, it's already been on the high street, the change this time shown on the catwalk are the full length gowns at Michael Kors and the colour blocking shown on the Gucci catwalk.

Go Gucci......
Spring/Summer 2011

Kings of Neon @ Michael Kors...
Spring/Summer 2011

Go for a hint of neon with accessories

Ralph Lauren Collection Erica was £450 now £315

Jimmy Choo Damian leopard print clutch was £1095 now £547.50

The Toywatch has got to be 1 of my favourite's love it!!! £130

Go for neon nails and/or eye make up looks fab!! I'm loving the Nail's Inc colours and the varnish is long lasting so thumbs up for the Nail's Inc definitely recommended by myself.

Please comment on this look, would you consider this look? is it a yay or nay? Let me know...

TopShops Tassels

Gosh I nearly died and went to Heaven when I saw these beauties, they are absolutely gorgeous.
Do you know what, I wouldn't even mind if I couldn't walk in them, I'd have them in a glass cabinet just to look at. Yeah they are high, but in theory the wedge gives you even balance, well thats what I think!

Topshop perspex tassel wedges S/S 2011

Tassels are this seasons trend, we've previously seen small tassels on bags and loafers but now they're bigger and brighter than ever before.

I must say I am going mad over wedges this season!! For those who love high heels like myself but dislike the discomfort wedges are top of the list!!

My wedge fascination started when I was bought a pair of wedged boots for my birthday, they where purchased in Office and fit like socks, I went on and on to everyone of my friends "you gotta get these, they feel like socks!"

Here they are my Office Minky Linky grey suede boots now £30
So since I've purchase the wicker wedge gladiator sandals love em too.
Wedges are definitely the way forward love them sooooo much!!

What do you think about wedges???
And do you like the Topshop perspex tassel wedge??

Order of Events

An initial consultation will be needed, this can be as in-depth or as brief as the client wants it to be, but there will be a few “must answer” questions in order for the client to be styled. Questions about the clients style, lifestyle etc.
A meeting will be organised convenient to the client, this can be one on one or emailed based, as I know some may have busy schedules so both ways work really well. Depending on what package has been picked, after the consultations and briefs a wardrobe assessment will be carried out and then shopping trips or just shopping trip if wardrobe assessment is not needed.
I am always happy to work around my client and am very flexible in the ways of communication, I have a list of ways to be contacted some within business hours and other ways out of business hours.
I am happy to work with any budget, I have great contacts for sample sales etc. so I will try my best to work within my clients price range, there’s always an alternative!! (looking fab does not always have to be expensive!)

Hi Guys

Let me introduce myself...
I'm a Freelance Fashion Stylist.

I have studied fashion from the age of 16 studying fashion design and technology and then specializing in women's knitwear

Having this knowledge in fashion I thought it would be great to pass on my knowledge through personal styling, I specialize in body and colour analysis ensuring whatever shape or size my client is I will show them how to highlight their assets and downplay their faults.
It is very important to me to keep up with the latest fashion trends, colours etc. I am constantly looking out for the latest trends, I have to I am a stylist!

I have never heard a better saying than this “passion for fashion” Fashion is great; it is around us 365 days, so does that mean we have 365 outfits??...just a thought! I love to see individuals looking good and as I’ve said I’m now passing on all my fashion knowledge to my clients x x

The ultimate fashion calendar...Plan what your wearing in advance!

After a bit of thought I decided to study personal styling. I thought wouldn't it to be great to be able to design, make and style!!!

I have covered areas of styling such as food styling, but as I like to look good I thought it would be great to pass my style knowledge on to others (real people, of all shapes and sizes) who required it.
It is so rewarding seeing a client happy with their purchases and the way they have been styled.

After a session with me, I hope to leave you feeling “Brand New” (not forgetting your wardrobe)
